About Maple Madness

Maple Madness is an annual youth basketball tournament in Skowhegan, the seat of Somerset County, Maine—the top maple-producing county in the United States. The tournament recruits 5th- to 8th-grade girls' and boys' teams from regional maple-producing areas including Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Canada.

Maple Madness is a component of Skowhegan's annual Maple Festival. Our goal is to promote friendly youth competition while also celebrating regional maple syrup traditions. Thank you to the Hight Family of Dealerships for being the lead sponsor of Maple Madness!
